Feed the Birds

Part of Forest Heath District Council's holiday activities, children were given the opportunity to make bird feeders from lard, peanut butter, seeds, nuts and dried fruit.  This was perfect timing for Feed the Birds Day on 29 October.  The youngsters were given the recipe for making more food for their feeders, as well as information on how to care for garden birds over the winter.
