Children are being given a unique opportunity to try their hand at drawing the famous Mildenhall Treasure plus a storytelling activity.
'The Big Draw', an annual nationwide activity, takes place in October and is part of the National Campaign for Drawing. This family fun session is being staged at Mildenhall Museum on Friday 28 October from 10am until 1pm.
This free-to-enter event is being run by Mildenhall Museum and Forest Heath District Council. There is no need to book and materials are supplied. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
Forest Heath District Councillor, Michael Anderson, Member Champion for Out Reach Projects for Young People said "This annual initiative is an opportunity to bring communities together in a creative way, inviting people of all ages to discover how drawing can connect them with their surroundings and the wider community.
