Strategic Flood Risk Assessment and Water Cycle Study

The study and assessment is a piece of work that was undertaken jointly between Forest Heath District Council and St Edmundsbury Borough Council.

The purpose of the Outline Water Cycle (WCS) and Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA) Level 1 study is to identify if there are any flooding or water related issues presenting significant obstacles to the ability to provide the preferred levels of development. This early assessment will enable the provision of plans that are feasible and achievable with known levels of intervention.
