Guidance on Local Validation Requirements

For an application to be valid and processed by the Local Planning Authority, applicants will have to submit a minimum level of information with their applications. This includes our list of local validation requirements. Each application type has a specific list of requirements.

The glossary of terms describes each of the requirements in detail and has a number of useful links for further guidance.

It should be made clear that not all the requirements listed within each application type will apply in all circumstances but that it will be for the applicant to demonstrate that they have had clear regard to those matters which are applicable.
