Decent Home Grants

A decent home has to be free from any serious hazards to health and safety, be in a reasonable state of repair, have a fairly modern kitchen and bathroom and have adequate and affordable heating.

Decent Home Grants are available to help achieve these standards. Grant aid is available to home owners only. The owner occupier, or a member of the household, must be receiving a government benefit and be prepared to live in the home for at least five years. The Grant is repayable on the sale or transfer of the ownership of your home.

We work in partnership with the Home Improvement Agency  to help residents apply for Decent Home Grants and to make improvements with residents homes.
