Our Aims

• Attract and service visitors to the district and wider area through quality promotion and information and to support the further development of existing and new visitor attractions and services.
• Maximise the economic benefits of tourism to the district by preparing and implementing a tourism and marketing strategy.
• Support the development of existing and new visitor attractions and services.  Provide and facilitate up to date and accessible information for visitors to the area and the local community.
• Work with partners to promote the area locally and within the regional and national government framework for tourism.
• Increase the quality and standards of local attractions and services through advice and advocacy.
• Provide a co-ordinated and consistent delivery of tourism services within the area.
