Newmarket is famous as the 'Sport of
Kings' with horseracing during the season (April-November),
when thousands of spectators prepare to place their bets and enjoy
the racing with entertainment and interactive activities for all
the family. You can join a tour to watch some of the
2500 racehorses being exercised on the gallops during the
morning from Monday to Saturday - with some tours you
also have the opportunity to visit a training yard, the British
Racing School, veterinary centres, and equine swimming pools, as
well as enjoy visits to the National Horseracing Museum and the
National Stud.

for holiday boats situated near the playing fields. For more
information telephone the Brandon Tourist Information Centre
