Our Purpose
Plan for, promote and monitor the delivery of sustainable
development in the district between 2006 and 2021 and provide
certainty in the planning policy and delivery regime.
Our Aims
Plan and promote development necessary for appropriate levels of
homes, jobs and community or transport facilities, whilst
protecting and enhancing the environment and character of the
district, in order to provide an acceptable and sustainable quality
of life.
Our Work
- Amend the Local Development Scheme to provide a more realistic
timetable for the production of the Local Development
Framework.
- Take account of any amendments to the Regional Spatial Strategy
relevant to Forest Heath and the Local Development
Framework.
