ADVANCE NOTICE
PLANNING DEPARTMENT PARTIALLY CLOSED
WEDNESDAY 5 NOVEMBER 2008

As part of our continuing drive to improve our services we commissioned a review of all our processes and procedures from Trevor Roberts Associates. Their report has been delivered and we have set aside 5 November to consider all its findings and recommendations and to formulate an action plan to implement them.

As a result the Development Control part of the planning department will not be manned on that day, while we are doing this. We apologise for any disruption this causes, but we will be back in business the next morning and will deal then with any urgent queries that have arisen on November 5.

The Building Control, Forward Planning and Land Charges sections of the department will be open as usual on that day.
