Forest Heath District Council's Building Control Service
operates from the District Offices and is staffed by professional
experienced officers with an extensive knowledge both of local
conditions and issues, and a wide range of building types and
construction techniques.
The main purpose of the Building Regulations 2000 (As amended), is
to ensure the Health and Safety of people in and about
buildings. They are also concerned with energy conservation
and making buildings more convenient and accessible for people with
