TO celebrate national Compost Awareness Week, Forest Heath District Council will be thanking residents for their recycling efforts by providing FREE soil improver, made from recycled garden waste collected from the kerbside green waste collection scheme.
Residents are invited to bring a spade and a container to Mildenhall Household Waste Recycling Centre, Brandon Road, on Thursday 8 May between 9am and 2pm to help themselves to FREE quality soil improver (subject to availability).
The aim of the initiative is to show Forest Heath residents what recycled compost can look and feel like whilst at the same time demonstrating how easy it is to produce home made compost.
