Forest Heath’s middle schools came together to battle it out in the Forest Heath Middle Schools Hockey Tournament, run by the district council. As well as the Middle Schools title, places were up for grabs in the Forest Heath Youth Games training squad for the 2008 Redrow Suffolk Youth Games.
The first matches set the tone of the tournament, with St Felix proving extremely strong and other sides well matched. St Felix had sealed the title with a game to play, but runner up spot went down to the final minutes of the last game with Scaltback snatching second place.

The final placings were:

1st St Felix 12 points

2nd Scaltback 6 points

3rd College Heath 4 points

4th Breckland 4 points

5th Riverside 2 points

Community Hockey Coach and tournament organiser Keiran Williams thanked Karl Karr from Mildenhall Ladies Hockey Club, Chris Evens from Newmarket Hockey Club and Ellie Mason from England Hockey for their support in making the event a success.
