FOREST
Heath District Council is asking the women of the district to
recycle their bras!
The
initiative is part of Recycle Week (2 - 9 June) - Recycle One More
Thing - and is the idea of the Suffolk Waste Partnership, of which
Forest Heath District Council is a member.
Bra
banks are at libraries in Newmarket, Mildenhall, Lakenheath and
Brandon and at Forest Heath District Council's Dome Leisure Centre
reception in Mildenhall until the end of June.
The old bras are
being sent to West Africa for reuse or recycling and the contractor
collecting the bras is paying £1 per kilo which will be donated to
MacMillan cancer support.
