STUDENTS from five Middle Schools across Forest
Heath will be demonstrating their hockey skills in a special
tournament next week (28 April).
One team from each school will be playing in the
tournament at the Newmarket Leisure Centre's all weather
pitch,
As well as trophies for the winning team there is a
unique opportunity on offer for the best players in the tournament.
They will be selected to train for the Suffolk Youth Games, a
competition that is growing is stature each year.
The tournament is being organised by Forest Heath
District Council's hockey coach, Keiran Williams, who said: "This
is the first middle school's tournament for Forest Heath students
and I'm looking forward to some excellent
matches."
