A ONE Stop Shop for new and active community groups is being hosted in Red Lodge.

            The Forest Heath Funding Fair will bring together those who can offer help and support and groups and individuals in the area.

            Organised by Forest Heath District Council, the West Suffolk Volunteers Consortium and the Voluntary Network in Newmarket, the event is being held on 8 November at Red Lodge Millennium Centre.

            Funding support can be given to developing new projects, extending existing facilities and local activities. The advice and support available depends on the nature of the project and the amount of help the group needs.

            The advice and support could help individuals or groups to:

• set up a new group
• prove the need for their project
• write policies
• cost the project
• find possible sources of funding
• manage, monitor & evaluate the project
• find other providers of support and advice.
