to National Armed Forces Day (27 June).
Guests at the ceremony were welcomed by a piper and included ten

the flag was raised at 10.30am.
After the ceremony guests were invited inside the council

Cllr Burt said: “The ceremony was short and simple and we were
proud to welcome members of the Royal British Legion to help us
honour and support the British Armed Forces of the past, present
and future.”
The flag will remain flying until Monday June 29, after which it
