The service aim is "to promote and facilitate the development of
children and young people, through play, active pursuits and
creativity".
We provide play and informal recreation facilities across the
district, including indoor and outdoor play space, facilities and
activities.

information where available. As this site grows, more links will be

Equipped children's play areas. To date we manage 38
individual play areas across the district. All are subject to
regular condition and safety inspections with the aim of
maintaining them to the highest possible standards.

Inspection service to parish councils and playing field
associations.

Teenage play/pocket parks for young people.

Wheeled sports areas (skate parks) in Newmarket, Mildenhall,
Brandon and Lakenheath.

Lady Wolverton Pavilion, Newmarket, used by a children’s
nursery.
- A wide range of children’s activities and holiday programmes
for children.
