The service aim is "to provide directly, or in
partnership with the private and voluntary sectors, a wide range of
quality sport, recreation and community facilities, available to
the whole community and visitors to the area".
We offer a wide range of facilities for hire and
use, instruction courses and activity programmes. We cater for
health and fitness, swimming, indoor bowls, racket sports, outdoor
sports and much more. We also have function and meeting rooms and
can provide licensed bars and catering services.
All our leisure centres and swimming pools offer classes and group
exercise sessions for young and older people. Our community centres
offer a range of rooms and halls for private
hire.
