Water, Drainage and Flooding

Forest Heath District Council has various responsibilities with regards to the supply and management of water within the District. The Council’s main duties involve:

• Water Supply Protection from Pollution - Monitoring the quality of private and public water supplies
• Drainage - Enforcing the clearance of blocked drains
• Flooding - Assisting emergency services, the Environment Agency and residents during flooding events
• Water Conservation - Advising residents and businesses on methods of water conservation
