There are a number of recycling sites throughout the district to
enable you to recycle a range of materials, including textiles,
glass, paper, cans and tetra-paks. For help finding these sites
view our Interactive Map.
Please follow the advice below when using the recycling banks:
- Please ensure you place the correct material in the correct
recycling bank
- Do not leave cardboard boxes, plastic bags or other waste at
the sites. This is flytipping and can result in prosecution
if found guilty of an offence
- Please report to us any misuse of the recycling banks
- The recycling banks are not to be used for commercial or
industrial waste
- Please ensure textiles are clean and dry. Please tie
pairs of shoes together
- Carrier bags - many supermarkets are now changing to
biodegradable carrier bags that are not recyclable. Please
reuse them, return them to the supermarket or use to wrap your
black bin waste.
