Recycling Sites

For more information, please contact Environmental Services:

Telephone: 01638 719284
Email: envhealth@forest-heath.gov.uk

There are a number of recycling sites throughout the district to enable you to recycle a range of materials, including textiles, glass, paper, cans and tetra-paks. For help finding these sites view our Interactive Map.

Please follow the advice below when using the recycling banks:

  • Please ensure you place the correct material in the correct recycling bank
  • Do not leave cardboard boxes, plastic bags or other waste at the sites.  This is flytipping and can result in prosecution if found guilty of an offence
  • Please report to us any misuse of the recycling banks
  • The recycling banks are not to be used for commercial or industrial waste
  • Please ensure textiles are clean and dry.  Please tie pairs of shoes together
  • Carrier bags - many supermarkets are now changing to biodegradable carrier bags that are not recyclable.  Please reuse them, return them to the supermarket or use to wrap your black bin waste.
