There are lots of ways you can pay us:
By Direct Debit
- Council Tax - We now offer a choice of
two payment dates for Council Tax: the 1st or the 15th of the
month. You can also choose to pay over 10 or 12 months.

- Business Rates - Direct Debits are collected

- Other regular invoiced services (sundry debtors – eg,
pendant alarms, trade refuse, business unit rents etc)

Online
- By debit card - You can pay Council Tax ,
Business Rates and overpayment of Housing Benefit.
- By credit card or debit card - You can pay
invoices. There is a 1.85% charge added to the total amount
if you pay by credit card.

Note: The email receipt service is currently suspended and
will result in an error message. Despite this, your payment
has gone through if you reach the receipt page. Please print
your receipt. Sorry for the inconvenience.

By bank payment
You can instruct your bank to make regular payments to us.
Please contact us for details of the information you must give to
your bank.
By telephone
We have a new automated telephone payment system. For more
information, follow
this
link. To use the system, call us on 01638 716980 and use
it to pay Council Tax, Business Rates, invoices, etc. The
system tells you step by step what to do.
By cheque
Send a cheque to Forest Heath District Council, District Offices,
College Heath Road, Mildenhall, Suffolk, IP28 7EY. Please
quote your reference number when making a payment. You can
request a receipt.
At a Post Office
You can pay at your local Post Office, but an additional charge
will be made. You must quote your reference number.
By credit card
Credit card payments can be taken for any service except Council
Tax, Benefit overpayment, Business Rates and industrial
rents.
In person
Payments, by cash, cheque, debit card or credit card can also be
made at any of our three offices. Follow this link for
