To monitor performance across all local authorities, the Government
has produced a new set National Indicators that every authority is
required to report its performance against each financial year (as
from April 2008). Forest Heath uses these nationally defined
indicators as well as a range of other local performance indicators
to measure and monitor its performance as an important part of its
performance management system. For more information on the national
indicators set please see the
Communities and Local Government
website.
These
new indicators replace the previous Best Value Performance
Indicators, for which the last set of data was published on 30 June
2008. The Council’s performance data for 2007/08 can be viewed by
going to the
Best Value Performance Plan.
