Every Local authority has
a statutory requirement to produce a Best Value Performance Plan
each year. The Plan contains information where you can read about
our main services and more importantly, what we are doing to
improve them.

The statutory requirement
to produce a full Best Value Performance Plan was removed in 2007
but local authorities are still required to publish outturn
performance data on the Best Value Performance Indicators and
a statement certifying compliance with the Code of Practice on
Workforce Matters.
