District and Parish Elections 3rd May 2007

Elections in Forest Heath

The formal election process to find 27 councillors for Forest Heath has started.

Parties and individuals had to submit nominations by 4 April.  Follow the links at the bottom of this page to view the names of people standing for election.

The deadlines for applying for a postal vote, proxy vote, or adding your name to the register of electors to enable you to vote in the 3 May elections, have passed.  There is now a provision to issue emergency proxy votes up to 5pm on election day, but we advise you to call the Elections Office for more information on this.  We can also replace lost postal votes up to 5pm on the day of the election.

Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm across the district.  Postal vote envelopes can be handed in at your usual polling station.

The counting of votes will take place on Friday 4 May at The Dome Leisure Centre in Mildenhall.

Follow the links below for further information.  These will open in Adobe PDF format.  Further links will be added to this list as the election timetable progresses.
