Sometimes you may wish to complaint about the service you have
received from us.
In the first instance you should complain directly to the service
provider. Service staff are fully prepared to receive, record and
to deal appropriately with your complaint.
If you are unable to resolve the matter with the service concerned,
you can raise a formal complaint with the Complaints Officer,
either by sending an email to the address above, completing a paper
or online Complaint form, or by visiting the Council
offices.

In summary, the procedure is as follows:
- If your complaints could not be satisfactorily resolved by the
service provider, the Complaints Officer will investigate the
complaint on your behalf.
- If your complaint is still not resolved, the matter will be
referred to the Chief Executive.
- If your complaint is still unresolved, or you are dissatisfied
with the outcome of the investigation of your complaint, you can
raise the matter with a District Councillor or refer the matter to
the Local Government Ombudsman, who can be contacted at the
