Forest Heath District Council Offices

Forest Heath District Council is made up of 27 members (councillors) who have been elected to represent the 14 wards in the district. You can find out who your local councillor is on the Councillors pages.

We have a Conservative majority, with 23 Conservatives, two Liberal Democrats, one Independent and one Labour

We have a streamlined committee structure. All committees report to the Council and their decisions are also looked at by our Overview and Scrutiny Committee.

The Leader of the Council is Councillor James Waters, and the Chairman is Roger Dicker and Vice-Chairman is Eddie Stewart.

Our Electoral Services team runs all elections in the Forest Heath district, as well as maintaining the electoral roll. The electoral roll is continually updated and you can ask for your name to be included at any time. It is a legal requirement to be registered on the electoral roll. You can opt to be included on a "non-public" version if you prefer not to have your details published.
