Our Purpose
Improve the health of the community by offering more opportunities
to choose a healthier lifestyle and decrease
health inequalities.
Functions and Activities
- Offer Level 2 & 3 Stop Smoking Services.
- Respond to health related consultation.
- Represent Forest Heath on the Western Suffolk Local Strategic
Partnership Health Inequalities Network.
- Build and work in effective internal and external prtnerships
that encourage health improvement and or help to reduce health
inequalities.
- Organise and supervise FHDC Community Health Improvement Forum
and Health Working Group.
Service Delivery 07/08
- Tackling obesity.
- Reduce the number of poeple who smoke or are affected by other
poeples smoke.
- Reduce the number of households living in fuel poverty.
- Promote health and encourage young people to make healthier
choices.
