We employ a dedicated Community Development
Officer. The post mainly covers the areas of Red Lodge and Brandon.
Local people may come to us with an idea to improve their
community. This could be a conservation project, improvements to
the village hall, more play equipment or a whole host of other
ideas.
Making a Difference
We work with local residents, community organisations and partner
agencies (such as parish councils, Suffolk ACRE, the Police and
youth or education services) to help them get projects off the
ground. This may include:
- Advice on funding and training
- Help with setting up committees or writing constitutions
- Advice on how to recruit and manage volunteers.
