Delivering the London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games will be a
massive undertaking, requiring goods and services from an enormous
range of firms.
A Business Network has been created to help companies
compete for Games-related business opportunities directly with
London 2012 or with suppliers in its supply chain. More than 75,000
future business opportunities worth an estimated £6bn are expected
to be allocated over the coming years.
Part of the Business Network is the new
'Compete For' service, a business brokerage
system that will match companies to thousands of opportunities
supplying London 2012 contractors. Companies will be encouraged
to advertise their opportunities through 'CompeteFor' with up to
20 per cent of all London 2012 supply chain opportunities
expected to go through the system.
The Business Network also has details of the latest London
2012 business events and information to help businesses get
involved.

Opportunities to tender for the supply of goods and services for
both LOCOG and the ODA will be published on the
