Lark in the Park 2009

Lark in the Park returns to Mildenhall on Saturday 11 July and is building on the success of our previous two events.

This year, the community event will be taking a look at the Mildenhall to Melbourne Air Race which took place some 75 years ago.  One of the attractions, weather permitting, is a display by some large model aircraft.  Birds of prey and the Suffolk Punch horses will make a return, as will the ever popular fishing for the Red Signal Crayfish in the River Lark.  There will also be taster sessions in a range of sports and leisure activities, plus refreshments.
