To protect its staff and customers from the dangers of second-hand smoke, Forest Heath District Council has declared the whole of its College Heath Road site in Mildenhall a smoke-free zone. The new national rules prohibit smoking in enclosed public places. The Council has sought to set a good example in the interest of public health and has applied the law to the entire grounds of its main offices.
